Why should I use a wedding videographer?

Speaking from experience, your wedding day will be a blur! You put so much time and effort into the planning of the big day, and when it comes, it is gone in a flash. Video is really a 'time machine' to go back and see all the details that went into your wedding day. It allows you to "attend your own wedding" at your leisure, without the stresses and distractions of the day. It also allows you to be able to share your wedding with family and friends that may not have been able to attend.

Who will do the filming and editing?

I will! I’ll also have a second shooter with me to capture all the in-between moments!

Will you meet with me for a consultation about your services?

Yes! I firmly believe in building a relationship with my clients before capturing their special day. You need to be able to trust that your videographer will be able to get all the moments you hold most dear to your heart, and meeting face to face is a great way to build rapport.

How long does the video editing process usually take?

I like to make sure I take plenty of time to be able to tell your story. Typically the final edit of your film will be completed between 6-8 weeks after your ceremony.

How does payment work?

Once we figure out the best package for your day, half of the package total is due as a non-refundable deposit to hold your date. The remaining half of the balance will be due no later than 30 days before your wedding date.

How do you accept payments?

Cash, checks and Venmo are my only accepted methods of payment.

Can we pick out the music for the wedding video ourselves, or is it selected for us?

I tend to think low-key, instrumental music over your footage, dialogue and speeches works better to convey the emotion and feelings of your day. I am open to suggestions, and will take your personal styles and preferences into account.

Do you do interviews in your videos?

Interviews are always available! If I do them, it is usually with the bride and groom separately, while they are getting ready. I will sometimes interview the parents as well. Let me if you're interested in having interviews in your final film.

I already booked a photographer, is that a problem?

Absolutely not! I do have some favorites when it comes to wedding photographers, so if you need suggestions, let me know! However, we work well with photographers and any other vendor you may have. We are 100% professional and will ensure that both the photographer and Weisgerber Productions gets all the footage necessary to provide you with memories of your once in a lifetime experience.

Are you available to travel for my wedding or event?

Absolutely! Contact me to discuss distance, pricing, etc.

How much should I budget for my wedding videography and final film?

I believe your wedding videographer and photographer are among the most important vendors you will choose. Your wedding day will only happen once; only video and photos will remain to help you remember your special moments. Budget the same amount for your videographer that you would for your photographer. Photos and film are equally important.

Will the bride, groom, or any of the guests have to pose for the videographer?

No, not at all! I am practically an invisible ninja the day of your wedding. I stay out of the way and film the events as they unravel. I encourage everyone to be natural and after the first 5 minutes of shooting, you will forget I am there.

How do I book you for my date?

Just send me a message! Use the contact page to get in touch with me, and I will check my availability.
